Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to log in to use the network?
More than likely, y ou will have to log in to post any messages to a
network, though you can browse the messages in some networks without logging in.
The log-in box requires your email and a password. This should match the email
and password in your ACPE record. NOTE: If you have a pop-up blocker, you may need
to disable it for the login box to appear.

How do I navigate the network?
The three main areas of all networks are:
- Discussions - Where conversations among network members take place.
- Network Resources - Where the network stores articles, web sites, web lectures and other resources of interest to the group. Anyone can add to the network's resources by contacting the network leader or the network staff coordinator.
- Participant List - This list shows everyone who has joined the network. If you would like to email any network member directly (not through the discussions), you can click on his or her name to get the direct email address.
We invite you to explore the other areas of the network at your leisure.

How can I manage the messages I receive?
Participants have indicated that it helps them stay more connected to the networks if they
receive the messages directly into their regular email instead of having to make a
special trip to the network site to read messages. As a member of the networks
you join, you will automatically receive each posting made to the network.
At the bottom of each email message you receive, you will have the following choices:
- Respond to this topic- click on this link to reply to the message.
- View this Discussion - click on this link to view all the messages in this topic discussion.
- Don't send me any more email on this Topic - click on this link if you want to continue receiving most messages, but aren't interested in this particular topic.
- Don't send me any more email from this Network- click on this link if you want to continue receiving messages from other networks, but not this particular network. This option does not cancel your membership in the network, so you can still access and post messages if you go to the network site.
- Please remove me
from this Network- click on this link if you want to cancel your membership in this network and will no longer be accessing the network site.
