The heartbeat of Chicago pulses with a passionate mix of sophisticated style, business acumen, sports, culture, art, collegiate spirit and history. Whether you love to dine, shop, take in a game, or just spend time on the waterfront, Chicago is a great place to plan a vacation. The Windy City boasts an array of shopping along Michigan Avenue, aptly dubbed the Magnificent Mile. When it comes to culture, Chicago offers Broadway-style shows, symphonies, ballets, operas, art and museums. And bring the kids – this exciting city has plenty to entertain adults and children alike.

Attire & Classroom Info
Dress for all ACPE sessions and functions are casual. The temperature in the meeting room is sometimes cool, so bring a sweater to class.
Dress for events other than those of the seminar is comparable to that of any major city. Some restaurants may require jackets and ties. Bring comfortable shoes and clothing for sightseeing and shopping. Average August temperatures in Chicago are in the low 80's during the day with evening temperatures dropping to the 60’s.
If you use a laptop computer, look for a table designated for laptop computer users. There will be an extension cord at that table for your convenience. Out of respect for others, please do not bring any of the following into the classroom: pagers, cell phones, or other communication devices that may emit an audible sound.
