In this dynamic, very personal, 2 day course, you'll take an in-depth look at your personal values and thinking preferences to discover the fascinating ways that you think about the world. Most importantly, you'll begin to understand how values and thinking preferences can lead to cooperation or to misunderstandings and conflict. Understanding your own values and preferences will enable you to create new ways to build trust and respect and have a better influence on people and results.

One of the keys to easing conflict and increasing cooperation and influence is to gain a better understanding of yourself. Through this course, you’ll discover your most important personal values and how they influence your own feelings and behaviors. You’ll also discover your thinking preferences, which are the ways of thinking that you find most satisfying and motivating.

Troubleshooting any situation: Analyze almost any work situation in 10-30 seconds from the perspective of your values and then know what to do about it
Improving relationships: Respectfully, openly and informally give and receive effective feedback.
Having more meaningful conversations: Learn simple questions that will help you determine what’s most important to you and others and how to use that information to get better results.
Assessing motivation quickly: Discover to what degree you and others are motivated, what is preventing motivation, what to do about … and to recognize when motivation is not possible.
Improving communications: Adapt to people with different communication styles.
Improving work satisfaction and effectiveness: Understand to what degree your organization’s work environment satisfies your personal values and how to close the value-gap.
