Education & Training

For over 30 years, ACPE has been training physicians to become highly capable managers and exceptional leaders. Courses are offered in 3 formats, all approved for CME

• Live programs, conducted at various locations throughout the country three or four times each year;
• Distance education - computer-based and completed at your home or office, with an online discussion (InterAct) or self-study (InterAct Express); and
• Onsite programs – “in-house” training, customized to meet your organization’s needs.

Many of these courses are also approved for pre-requisite credit toward a master’s degree in medical management (MMM or MBA) or to meet the academic requirements for board certification in medical management.

Networks

ACPE Networks are online discussion boards where you can connect with other physician executives. Log in using your email address and password to post comments, ask questions and share expertise with physicians who live and work in your geographic region, hold similar positions or share your special interests.

Career Support

Publications

The Physician Executive journal is ACPE’s flagship publication. Published bimonthly, it is filled with peer-reviewed articles on a wide variety of medical management subjects to help you get connected to leaders and experts working in the field. The Leading Edge is ACPE's online magazine with an edge, covering what's "hot" in health care management right now.

ACPE offers books on career management, medical management skills, quality & patient safety, legal issues in health care, information technology and more.
