Life membership is open to current and new members of ACPE and offers a 15% discount on all future purchases with ACPE, except for MMM tuition paid directly to Carnegie Mellon University, Tulane University, University of Southern California, or University of Massachusetts and the CCMM Tutorial fee. Life memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Life membership dues for a brand new ACPE member are $2870 for 2008, with a one-time processing fee of $30, for a total of $2900. Physicians residing outside the United States, its territories and possessions, Canada and Mexico may apply for International membership by completing the application for membership and providing proof of licensure in their respective countries. Student membership is open to all allopathic (MD) and osteopathic (DO) medical students. This category of membership is limited to individuals in the process of earning the initial medical degree. Affiliate membership is open to licensed, registered or certified fellows of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and other health care professionals rendering direct patient care. Affiliate membership dues are $75 per year, with a one-time processing fee of $15.

Master’s Candidate membership is open to any current ACPE member who has been a member for a minimum of one (1) year. The physician must be currently enrolled in a graduate management or MBA program for a minimum of 9 credit hours every semester. Graduate programs are not restricted to ACPE affiliated programs. A letter from the program dean, on school letterhead, providing the following information must be submitted prior to being accepted for this category of membership: name of physician, name of program, credit hours to be earned during the semester, and the anticipated graduation date. Master’s Candidate membership dues are $50 per year. There is a time limit of 2 years for this category of membership.
