Who is eligible to join ACPE?

Full membership in the American College of Physician Executives is open to licensed allopathic (MD) and osteopathic (DO) physicians; dentists (DDS or DMS); and podiatrists (DPM) residing within the continental United States and its territories and possessions, and Canada and Mexico. No examination is required for membership.

How much are dues?

Dues are $250 per year. There is a $30 processing fee when you first join.

What is the purpose of ACPE?

The American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) is the nation's oldest and largest health care organization for physician executives — doctors who hold leadership and management positions.

The primary focus of the College is to help doctors assume more active roles in the leadership and management of organizations in the health care industry, and helping physicians acquire leadership and management skills. ACPE offers personalized support to all of its members, including CME courses, an advanced degree program, career counseling and more.

Do I have to be a member to take a CME course?

No, membership is not required. However, members receive significant discounts on all of our live and distance education classes.
