What ACPE Members are saying:
“The education was top-notch, and perhaps the best part (about a recent ACPE conference) was learning from others in similar situations how they deal with real-life problems. There is immense value to informal networking.”

We are seeking applications from Medical Schools, Teaching Hospitals and Academic Medical Centers for the 2013 ACPE Leape Ahead Award
ACPE’s Leape Ahead Award recognizes people and institutions that are dedicated to improving the quality of health care by developing medical students and residents into future health care leaders.
Applicants should be those creating learning cultures—programs, courses, techniques—that develop the interpersonal, communication, collaboration and teamwork skills of these future leaders.
The Leape Ahead Award honors the commitment and dedication of Dr. Lucian Leape to physician leadership in patient safety.
This annual award reinforces the first two recommendations in the 2010 Lucian Leape Institute report, Unmet Needs, released by the National Patient Safety Foundation, that medical education institutions should place the highest priority on developing the skills of future health care leaders.
Applicants will be notified by February 15, 2013. The winner will be honored at a presentation at ACPE’s Annual Meeting Business Luncheon on April 26, 2013, at the Hilton New York City.
Applications must be submitted electronically by filling out the regstration form here. All applications must be received at ACPE no later than Friday, November 30, 2012.
Questions? Contact Charisse Jimenez at ACPE at cjimenez@acpe.org or 800-562-8088. |
