ACPE Health IT Leadership Certificate Program
Managing, leading, and implementing health care IT can be very challenging. With the right knowledge and skills—provided by ACPE's new certificate program—you can more easily and effectively lead health care IT changes.
ACPE's NEW Health IT Leadership Certificate Program will give you the information you need to
- Be conversant on IT issues and fundamentals
- Develop the skills to manage the people Implementing IT
- Successfully strategize, plan, and implement health IT changes
Course Format and CME Credits
All certificate courses are online InterAct Express — and provide Category 1 CME credits.
The 40-hour certificate curriculum (see below) PLUS an IT project conclude with a two-day Capstone Course and Project held at various ACPE Institutes. The next available one is April 29-30, 2012, in San Francisco, CA. The total program cost is $4,975, which includes $100 per credit hour or $4,000 for the 40-hour curriculum plus $975 for the 2-day Capstone Course and Project.
All courses are eligible for elective credit in ACPE's Masters Degree and CPE prerequisites.

Capstone Class at ACPE's Annual Meeting & Spring Institute
HIT Leadership Certificate Capstone Course and Project »
You have finished your 40 hours of Health IT Leadership courses and now you are ready for the Capstone. This two-day course will provide updates in critical topics in the program and emerging regulatory issues. Participants will attend topical workshops and engage in shared learning opportunities. All certificate candidates will present the results of their projects* at the Capstone.
*Project Criteria:
The project must be in clinical leadership in organizational information technology.
