Organizational Culture, Planning and Strategy
Course Description
Understanding the organizational culture, knowing the organizational environment and then creating a strategy are the steps to success in an IT project, This course explores the importance of environmental analysis, readiness assessment, solution and clinician needs analysis, and governance and leadership. Learn the tools to help ensure a project is structured appropriately, fits into your organizational timing, goals, and vision, and is designed according to what users need.

Target Audience
This CME activity is intended for physicians and other health care leaders who wish to learn the components of organizational planning: environmental analysis, readiness assessment, solution and clinician needs analysis, and governance and leadership. This is a course in the Health IT Leadership Certificate and an elective course in the degree and certification prerequisite curriculum.

Evaluation Method
Each ACPE CME activity includes an evaluation process to determine that the learning objectives have been met and that the activity was of educational value to the target audience and was unbiased. The evaluation also assesses whether or not the CME activity resulted in a change in physician practice behavior and offers participants a method of feedback.
